H.E. Tunde Atayeshe D. Owolabi founded the Global Compact for Peace, Human Security and Responsible International Cooperation to establish a neutral, voluntary platform through which governments, institutions, and stakeholders worldwide could pursue peace, human dignity, and responsible cooperation without binding legal obligation or compromise of sovereignty.

As Founding Chair, President and Global Convener, he provides the institutional vision behind the Compact's flagship initiatives and its guiding philosophy — the Doctrine of Divine Diplomacy — which holds that diplomacy is the universal architecture through which humanity negotiates order, balance, justice, and peaceful continuity.

Headquartered in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria, his leadership has directed the Compact's outreach across governments, international organizations, academia, civil society, and the private sector, positioning the institution as a multipolar, multi-stakeholder complement to the existing United Nations system.
